Dwayne Hicks - Head Coach
Coach Hicks has an impressive coaching resume including one CCLA Championship and two MCLA national championship appearances while he was at Oakland University. After five successful seasons at Oakland, he moved on to coach at Eastern Michigan University. In his three years there, he’s helped guide the program to some of the best results in its history.
In his eight years as a head coach in the MCLA, Hicks has been named CCLA Coach of the Year on two different occasions. A third COY honor came while coaching in the English Lacrosse Union. There he helped guide his team to the National Championship as a player/coach in two consecutive years.
Coach Hicks is originally from Freeport, Long Island and played college lacrosse at the University of Notre Dame. He is also Senior Coaches Trainer for US Lacrosse and is recognized by that organization as one of the best fundamentals coaches in the country.
